Diesel Mechanic
Duties:
- Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the Diesel Shop Manager
- Perform in-field/on road machinery diagnostics and repairs as required
- Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts
- Disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments as necessary
- Record details of repairs made, and parts used
- Document machine information and repairs completed on work order, including parts and fluids used
- Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals
- Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, and procedures involved in maintenance repairs and replacement
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills

Truck Driver
Duties:
- Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, air in tires, and to report any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance department
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Inspecting vehicle/equipment for mechanical and safety issues
- Keeping in contact concerning current and future loads, home time, and any complications that arise
- Perform light maintenance on equipment
- Variations in workloads relate to seasonal demands, may vary between 50-75 hours per week. In addition, you may be required to work holidays, nights and weekends as needed
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Dependable, reliable, and competent to handle equipment safely
- Ability to understand written instructions and procedures
- Ability to communicate on two-way radio
- Ability to function with minimal supervision

Maintenance Electrician
Duties:
- Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems
- Run electrical conduit and wires
- Troubleshoot electrical, including motors, fuses, transformers, transfer switches, wiring and circuits
- Install, maintain and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
- Install new and used equipment throughout facilities
- Test electrical systems with voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.
- Perform other routine general maintenance functions in the areas of facility·
- Calculate job costs, and orders parts, equipment, supplies, and materials
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly checks of electrical systems
- Maintain current logs, preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files in order to comply with local, state and federal regulatory requirements
- To clean, thoroughly inspect, and problem solve electrical activities in order to improve equipment performance, reduce equipment downtime, and reduce maintenance
- Keep company truck clean and inventory up to date
- Respond to other electrical and maintenance duties as they are assigned
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards
Skills and Experience:
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work both collaboratively with a team and independently to achieve project goals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively across diverse groups
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals and blueprints
- Ability to manage multiple projects successfully and prioritize effectively, responding to short deadlines where necessary
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity with hand tools, tape measures and levels, etc.
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
- Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake training

Field Operations Manager
Duties:
- Complete CAFO calendar, record pit levels, sample manure sources and complete sample checklist
- Communicate all changes of crops in accordance with the NMP for cooperating farms
- Observe field conditions including checking fields in spring for yield loss
- Check and record inspections of all tile lines in fields before, during and after application
- Complete field map verification log with applicators for all hazards
- Drill holes and photograph for all wet soils prior to applying
- Communicate with managers and agronomist on purchasing, acreage, fertilizer, application rates and manure sources
- Collect and organize all load sheets ensuring drivers and applicators completed
- Coordinate hauling bed pack/sand/biosolids
- Complete daily hauling log and checklist for weekly tasks
- Inspect runoff areas/leachate/super hutches/leachate pit and pump when needed
- Conduct DNR walkthroughs with Safety Coordinator and remedy any areas of concern
- Coordinate harvest of alpha/corn silage
- Oversee scale house during harvest
- Coordinate pile covering, packing and placement
- Collect samples to determine harvest time, quality and moisture during harvest and cross reference samples with custom grower contracts and data sheets to ensure correct payment
- Communicate with shop team for daily tasks
- Purchase new equipment and order parts for repairs of equipment
- Assist in fabricating and repairs of equipment
- Communicate and lead projects
- Bill verification for accuracy and approval
- Coordinate with custom haulers and cooperating farms on manure hauling and work with new and existing land renters on lease agreements
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and work well under deadlines
- Mechanically minded individual who can trouble-shoot problems and is comfortable repairing and maintaining equipment
- Experience operating large farm equipment and semi tractors
- Strong communication skills
- Effective problem solving and resolution skills
